WorkManager Portal Business Rules Update Fails w/ URLEncryption



If the user updates a Business Rule from their portal when using the WORKMANAGER portal in the PRPC 5.5SP1 env with URLEncryption ENABLED, the pop-up Window does not display the required rule instance.

Error Messages

A PRPC error is displayed on the screen with the red "X" in the upper left corner of the ACTION area.  User is unable to proceed with flow execution.

Steps to Reproduce

To reproduce this issue, a user logs into the custom portal JPMSRManager, and selects the accordion section of their browser ACTION area titled MY BUSINESS RULES. User then updates one of the displayed rules and saves the rule.  Note that the two prconfig.xml switches (URLEncryption and submitObfuscatedURL) must be set.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.


This issue is resolved by hotfix item HFIX-10145.
