SA-28960

Summary

After updating from Pega 7.1.7 to Pega 7.1.8, when user install products via automation Pega Utility pegaUtils.sh, it shows zero rules count in rulesets although these rules are present and open on system.

Error Messages

Not applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Update Pega from 7.1.7 to Pega 7.1.8.
2. Run automation utility to import products.
3. See that there's no errors after import.
4. Open ruleset and see that rule count shows zero although we're able to find these rules and open it on system.

Root Cause

After the rules are moved to the 718 system the pr4_rule_vw was not updated somehow. This table shows the count of rules in a ruleset.

Resolution

Apply the following local-change to resolve this issue :

1. Open the "Revalidate and Save" wizard and run it after choosing the problematic ruleset.
2. Re-save to the database one entry is created in this table. Thus the count increases.
