Smart Dispute for Issuers, Transaction Fraud, Visa Legacy Demo: Part 3 Representment and Pre-arbitration

How-to | January 26, 2017 | 13:55

A customer, Sarah Laytham, previously disputed a transaction citing concerns of fraud. Fund recovery was performed and a chargeback was issued. In this demo, the merchant is disputing the chargeback, claiming that the charge was valid. The merchant claimed that he has evidence that Sarah's daughter received the item that was purchased. Anand Bullock, dispute specialist for the card issuer, believes he has received compelling evidence from the merchant that this charge is not fraud.  Because the merchant is representing the charge, Anand must review the chargeback response and rebill Sarah's account.
