File storage and content management

You can configure your application to access content from, or store content in, an external Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) system or an online repository. You can also store content in a file storage and knowledge management repository.

Online repositories allow teams and organizations across industries to share and manage information from anywhere, on any device. You can download web storage provider components for various platforms and plug them in to Pega Platform™. You can then configure your application to store and source case and Pulse attachments in an online repository.

File storage and knowledge management repositories can be used for Dev Ops or for Pulse and case attachments.

Pega Platform supports enterprise content management (ECM) systems such as Alfresco, Microsoft SharePoint, and OpenText Documentum as CMIS systems and systems such as Box and SharePoint Online as web storage providers. Pega Platform supports JFrog Artifactory, Amazon S3, and Microsoft Azure file storage and knowledge management repositories. You can also create custom repository types for other repositories, such as Google.
