Applying patches

Pega Infinity™ includes an industry-standard patch release process to simplify and maintain high quality releases. The patch release approach bundles Pega Platform software bug and security fixes into cumulative monthly patch releases.

Software and security fixes prepared for any given client are available to every client, ensuring that you have access to the highest quality Pega Platform software that includes fixes to issues reported by other clients.

During the patch process, the process installs only the rule changes between the version you are running and the patch.

  • The process for logging bugs with the GCS team remains the same. Report issues through the Pega Support Community.
  • The patch release does not apply to strategic application software; these use the hotfix process. For information about how to apply application hotfixes, see Applying hotfixes.
