An Application Profile is a collection of information that specifies processing requirements, work components, estimated timelines, project sizing, and use cases for a project implementation. Information is captured by the Application Profile wizard that produces a printable project document and integrates with the Enterprise Application Accelerator to create or extend an application.
Creating a profile is part of the suite of application implementation tools in the Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) facilities.
To start the Application Profile wizard, select File > New > Application Profile from the Developer portal menu.
For details about creating an application profile, see the Pega Developer Network articles listed under the Implementation Methodology knowledge category.
Don't confuse the Application Profile wizard with the Profiler tool — an unrelated performance and debugging aid — or with an operator profile.
