The Enterprise Application accelerator is a guided wizard that integrates with an Application Profile to provide an automated, best practice process that jump-starts the creation and extension of applications.

The accelerator is part of the suite of application implementation tools designed for the Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO).

To start the Enterprise Application accelerator to create an application, select File > New > Enterprise Application from the Developer portal menu.

Don't confuse the applications created by this tool with Enterprise Archive (EAR file, E-tier) deployments, an unrelated J2EE technology.
