A favorite is a link that provides quick access to an
object. Process Commander includes two types of favorites:
- For some report displays based on list view rules, the
Add to
Favorites button
appears. When clicked, a link to the report appears in that
user's Monitor Activity workspace. Clicking this link
executes the report.
- For rules, a favorite link causes a rule instance or data
instance to open.
Both types of favorites are available to managers and
developers. Developers can create the second kind quickly:
- To create a favorite, click the Favorites
() button on the toolbar
or select the rule in the Application Explorer and select Favorites from the right-click context menu. Complete the dialog box.
- To open a favorite rule, select View > My
Rules > label item.
- To remove or relabel a favorite delegated
to yourself, select Edit > My Rules. Complete
the dialog box and click Submit .
The Favorites button is visible to developers who hold the
privilege @baseclass.ToolbarFull.
