A flow marker rule is a rule (of type Rule-AutoTest-Case-FlowMarker) that supports testing of flow rules when the Automatic Testing feature is enabled.
A flow marker saves test data and decisions that advance a flow execution to a specific point, or mark. In automatic testing runs, you can play back the rule to advance the execution of a flow to that point.
Ordinarily, flow marker rules are created automatically as you test flows, not by a rule form. However, you can open and review flow marker rules.
Flow marker rules belong to a RuleSet and version, but do not appear in the Application Explorer display.
See the Pega Developer Network article PRKB-25104 How to create and use a flow marker.
