Case rules

An Application Use Case rule has three key parts: the application name, the work type and the use case name. Use cases are directly associated with an existing application and work type but not applied to a class.

Type | Select Application Use Case from the Application Definition category. |
Application Name | Select the name of the application that includes the use case. The application must exist. |
Work Type | Select the work type processed by the use case. The work type must exist for the application. |
Name | Enter a name of your choice for this use case. Begin the name with a letter and use only alphanumeric, ampersand, and dash characters |

Rule resolution does not apply to use cases.
