Connect EJB rules
Completing the New or Save As form

A Connect EJB rule has two key parts:

Field	Description
Type	Select Connect EJB from the Integration-Connectors category.
Applies To	Enter the class for this connector.
Service Name	Enter the name of the remote service being called. This value is arbitrary and is only used to distinguish Connect EJB instances from one another. Enter a name that is a valid Java identifier. See How to enter an identifier.

Rule resolution

When searching for Connect EJB rules, the system:

• Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
• Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class

Time-qualified and circumstance-qualified rule resolution features are not available for Connect EJB rules.
