Property Alias
rules
|
A property alias rule has two key parts.
Field |
Description |
Type |
Select |
Applies To |
Enter the name of the class in which you're creating this property alias rule. Identify the class in which the property being aliased belongs, or (in unusual situations) a subclass of that class. The property rule may be in any RuleSet that you (and the intended users of the list view reports) have access to. The classes you can enter here may depend on the RuleSet you select. On the Restrictions tab of the Class form, a class rule may limit rules applying to that class to belong to one of an explicit list of RuleSets. |
Alias Name |
Enter a name that starts with a letter and includes only alphanumeric and dash characters. |
For general information about the New form, see Completing the new rule dialog box. For general information on the Save As form, see How to enter rule keys using Save As.
When searching for property alias rules, the system:
Time-qualified and circumstance-qualified rule resolution features are not available for property alias rules.
