Completing the New or Save As form

A skin rule has a single key part.

Field	Description
Type	Select Skin from the User Interface category.
Skin name	Enter a name that starts with a letter and uses only letters, digits, and the dash character.

Rule resolution

When searching for a skin rule, the system filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions.

Circumstance and time-qualified resolution features are not available for skin rules. The class hierarchy is not relevant to rule resolution for skin rules.
