More about Skin rules |
Style sheets in your application — recorded on the Styles tab — can override the definition of standard styles in standard style sheets.
As a best practice to ensure uniform styles throughout your application, create and maintain styles through the Application Skin wizard. Use extreme care if you update the CSS text file rules directly (using the Text File form), as certain changes may prevent later use of the Application Skin wizard.
In special cases, to supplement application-wide impact, you can override style sheets in individual list value rules and individual harness rules, affecting only those rules rather than all in your application. In addition, on Section rule forms and Flow Action rule forms, your application can define inline styles one-by-one for specific fields.
If you copy a Skin rule using the Save As toolbar operation, three text file rules (identified on the Styles tab) are also copied.
