The Service CORBA rule type is deprecated in V5.5. For new development, use another type of service rule.
Service CORBA rules let an external system access Process Commander data and processing through the Object Management Group's CORBA standard (Common Object Request Broker Architecture®).
Each Service CORBA rule references an activity that provides the service. After all the CORBA rules in a package are defined, developers can use a Service Package data instance to generate an Interface Description Language (IDL) file to support deployment.

A Service CORBA rule is an instance of the Rule-Service-CORBA class.
