About the
Application Migration wizard

Use the Application Migration wizard on a system upgraded from V5.1 or earlier that defines security based only on access groups rather than application rules. (In V5.4, you cannot create such access groups, but existing ones are valid to allow backwards compatibility.)
The wizard creates application rules from information in access groups, and updates access groups in Operator ID instances to reference the application groups.
This provides a one-time conversion aid for older access groups that do not use application rules.
You do not need this wizard if you create application rules directly from the Application form.
