Clicking the Include a Chart button on the Design tab or the Add or Edit chart command in the Report Viewer opens the Chart Definition dialog, which lets you display report results in a chart.GATZH 3/31/10
This tab is only enabled for Summarized reports.GATZH 3/30/10
Note that Summarized reports contain two types of columns:
COUNT()
, SUM()
, AVG()
, MIN()
,
and MAX()
. Examples include: counts of class instances (or record counts), total dollar amounts, average elapsed time between the entering and resolution of a work item, the most recent (maximum) date value, and the earliest (minimum) date value.See Report Definition form — Completing the Chart Definition dialog
User workstations retain chart images in the browser cache. When testing charts with Internet Explorer, select Tools> Internet Options > General and click Delete Files to clear the Temporary Internet Files cache to ensure that you see up-to-date chart output.
