DivisionsCreate a new division data instance by selecting Division from the Organization category.
An organization division data instance has two key parts:

Enter the name of an existing organization data instance, a key to an Organization instance. |
| Division Name |
Enter the name of this division, for example, Finance. Begin the name with a letter and use only alphanumeric, ampersand, and dash characters. Division identifiers are limited to 32 characters.

As a best practice, limit the division name to no more than eight characters in length. When you use the Application Accelerator, the division name becomes one segment of several class names.
You can also create a division instance using the organization chart, available on the Chart tab and on the Organizational Chart tab on the Organization landing page.
