Survey Group rulesNote
Although developers can work directly with survey group rule forms, Pega recommends creating and managing survey groups through the Group Builder tab on the Survey Management landing page.
Access the landing page by selecting 
> Survey Management >Group Builder.
If you wish to create the rule form directly right-click Survey in the Survey Group class and select New. In the form that appears, provide the following information:

The classes you can select here may depend on the RuleSet you select. On the Restrictions tab of the Class form, a class rule may limit rules applying to that class to belong to one of an explicit list of RuleSets. |
| Survey Group Name |
Enter a name that is a valid Java identifier. Begin the name with a letter, and use only letters, digits, and the dash character. See How to enter a Java identifier. |
Select a class that this survey group applies to from the options provided.Select a RuleSet and Version in which to save the survey group; then click Create.

Rule resolution
Full rule resolution applies to survey group. When searching for survey group rules, the system:
- Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
- Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class
- Finds circumstance-qualified rules that override base rules
- Finds time-qualified rules that override base rules
