Specification

A specification represents a small processing unit performed by one or more actors for a given case type within an application. A single specification may correspond to an entire process, a single flow action, a screen flow, an activity with the May Start? option enabled or the New harness of a flow.

You can view and update the specifications in your applications on the Application Profile landing page, Specifications tab ( > Application > Profile).

Specifications are referenced in application rules, flows, activities and flow actions.

In PRPC releases before V6.2 SP2, the rule instances for specifications were known as use case rules.
