Your system includes standard agents rules. Because these agents rules are in locked RuleSets, you cannot modify them. To change the configuration settings for the agents listed in these rules, update the agent schedules generated from the agents rule. See About Agent Schedule data instances.

Agents rule

Purpose
Pega-AutoTest The agents in the Pega-AutoTest RuleSet run test suites periodically. See Understanding the Pega-AutoTest agents and About Test Suites.
Pega-DecisionEngine Performs periodic computations to evolve adaptive models, defined through Adaptive Model rules. See Understanding the Pega-DecisionEngine agent.
Pega-EndUserUI Performs periodic purging of tags from database table pr_data_tag that are tags defined in the system but not used in the tag cloud. See Understanding the Pega-EndUserUI agent.
Pega-ImportExport The agents in the Pega-ImportExport RuleSet support the Purge/Archive wizard and support certain one-time post-upgrade processing. See Understanding the Pega-ImportExport agent.
Pega-IntSvcs The agents in the Pega-IntSvcs RuleSet process queued service requests and perform maintenance for PegaDISTRIBUTION MANAGER (formerly called Correspondence Output Server, or COS). See Understanding the Pega-IntSvcs agents.
Pega-ProcessEngine The agent in the Pega-ProcessEngine RuleSet supports calculations defined in case type rules. See More about Case Type rules and Understanding the Pega-ProcessEngine agent.
Pega-ProCom The agents in the Pega-ProCom RuleSet process email, service level rules and assignments, and so on. See Understanding the Pega-ProCom agents.
Pega-RuleRefactoring The agent in the Pega-RuleRefactoring RuleSet supports the RuleSet Maintenance wizard for queued tasks such as copying, moving, merging, and renaming RuleSets. See Understanding the Pega-RuleRefactoring agent.
Pega-RULES The agents in the Pega-RULES RuleSet perform general system housecleaning and periodic system pulse processing. See Understanding the Pega-RULES agents.
Pega-RulesEngine The agent in the Pega-RulesEngine RuleSet purges the Rules Assembly cache periodically, supports event processing, the Property Optimization tool, and report statistics. See Working with the Rules Assembly cache and Understanding the Pega-RulesEngine agent.
Pega-SecurityVA Obsolete. Do not enable this agent.
