Viewing and clearing local storage

Follow these steps to view or clear all the items stored in the queue.

  1. Log in to the Pega Mobile Client app.
  2. Select SettingsLocal storage from the menu.
  3. A page displays all the items that are currently stored in the Pega Mobile Client queue (local storage).

It includes information about the total size (in Kbytes) and the number of items. Each item displays its:

Note: This page is only available for a Pega Mobile Client app that has been created with the offline capability.

Type

A dropdown that lets you select the type for which items are to be displayed from the queue, for instance, flow action.

Clear storage

A button that lets you clear all the items that are currently in the queue (local storage), if you are online and are connected to the server. Clicking this button means that a full synchronization will be automatically started for the app. This button is helpful when making a section or a navigation change, since you no longer have to delete the cache and restart the app.

After clicking this button you need to wait until the synchronization has completed before navigating to another screen. If the synchronization does not complete and you cannot open any page:

  • under iOS: uninstall the app and install it again.
  • under Android: stop the app, clear the application cache and restart the app.
