Configuring mobile app settings

To build a custom mobile app, when constructing an application in Designer Studio, you need to set up certain parameters:

1. Select the mobile access mode:
   
   1. In Designer Studio, open the Application rule form and click the Mobile tab.
   2. Click Custom mobile app. Additional fields on the page are displayed.
2. Under Custom app details, identify the application by entering:
   1. Mobile app name - The name of the app that is displayed next to its icon when displayed on a mobile device.
   2. App URL - A direct path to the Pega 7 Platform login page for the application, for instance: http://test.pega.com:8080/prweb/PRServlet
3. Optional: Configure app branding
4. Optional: Upload custom modules
5. Optional: Fine tune the custom mobile app. See the PDN article Overriding Mobile tab settings with Hybrid Container properties
6. Click Save.
7. If required, build the app for the Android platform
8. If required, build the app for the iOS platform
