Previewing input data

When you create an input definition and before you use this data in a simulation, you can preview the data that is retrieved by the input definition.

1. Click Designer Studio > Infrastructure > Simulation Settings > Input Definitions.

2. Click Preview data for an input definition that you want to check.

3. Select one of the following options and enter additional details:

   • Sample - Preview a sample of the data for a number of customers.
     • Preview Size - The size of the data sample in number of records
     • Partition Key - (Read-only) The field used for partitioning
     • Fetch for Strategy - The name of strategy for which the preview retrieves the inputs
   • One Customer - Preview the data for a specific customer.
     • Customer ID - ID of the customer for who you preview data
     • Fetch for Strategy - The name of strategy for which the preview retrieves the inputs

4. Click Preview.
