Adding a parent skin

You can add a parent to an existing skin. When you add a parent to a skin, the skin becomes dependent on the parent and will inherit styles and formats from the parent. If the parent skin is changed, those changes will be inherited by the dependent skin.

1. Open the skin to which you want to add a parent.
2. On the Inheritance tab, enter the parent skin name in the Skin inheritance text area. Click the crosshairs icon to select from a list of available skins.
3. Save the skin.

Optionally, if you want to inherit base settings from the parent, select the Inherit from parent check box on the Base settings tab of the dependent skin.
