Installing hotfix packages

After you have obtained the hotfix and prepared to install it, update your system with the new functionality.

To install hotfixes interactively, see Installing hotfixes from the user interface.
To install hotfixes from the command line by connecting to an active instance of Pega Platform, see Installing hotfixes by submitting a request to an active instance.
To install hotfixes from the command line by connecting directly to the database, see Installing hotfixes by using a direct connection to the database.

After you install the hotfixes, check the results as described in Verifying hotfix installation results.

Then either commit or roll back the hotfix.
