Preparing to install hotfixes

After you download a hotfix package, prepare your system for updates.

1. Review the hotfixes to see if schema changes or special handling is required. For more information, see Reviewing hotfixes.
2. If the hotfix package includes database schema changes, ask your database administrator whether the schema changes must be applied manually. For more information, see Applying database schema changes.
