Creating a feature

You can create a feature for a capability that you implement in your application. By defining features that you can link to rules and work items, you can improve the traceability of capabilities to their respective implementations.

  1. In the header of Designer Studio, click the name of your current application, and then click Overview to open the Application Overview landing page.

  2. In the Features section, click the Create new feature icon.

  3. In the Name field, enter text that uniquely identifies the feature.

  4. In the Description field, enter text that describes the business value for this feature and what users can do when this feature is implemented.

  5. Click Create.

You can refine your feature by creating subfeatures.
