Requirements for replying to a push notification from Pulse

You can receive push notifications from Pulse when another user comments on your profile, references you, adds messages to a conversation in which you are involved, or posts comments on a case that you are following. Before you can reply to a notification, your application and mobile device must be correctly configured.

To successfully reply to push notifications, ensure that you meet the following requirements:

  • If you are using an Android device, your custom mobile app is built for Android 7.0 or later versions.

  • If you are using an iOS device, your custom mobile app is built for iOS 9 or later versions.

  • Your mobile device is configured for other actionable notifications such as SMS messages.

  • Your Pega Platform instance is configured to use the HTTPS protocol.
