Complete the Modeled Analysis tab to configure statistical analyses on the Sample data. Modeled analysis provides a statistical assessment of the significance of individual properties and their influence in predicting the targeted outcome.

Completing the Select Offer section

Use this section to train the analysis on specific instances of responses to previously delivered offers. Use the drop-downs in this section to specify the level of your interest.

Level

Description

Issue Select an Issue. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses for Offers within this Issue.
Note Leave this field unselected to use responses for all Offers.
Group Select a Group. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses for Offers within this Group.
Note You must select an Issue before you can select a Group.
Offer Select an Offer. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses for this Offer.
Note You must select a Group before you can select an Offer.

Completing the Select Interaction Details section

Use this section to direct the analysis to focus on various dimensions of interaction history.

Field

Description

Direction SmartPrompt, combo box, selection list Select a direction of communication. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses in this direction.
Channel SmartPrompt, combo box, selection list Select a channel of communication. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses on this channel.
Treatment SmartPrompt, combo box, selection list Select a treatment name. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses associated with this treatment.
Offered After Select a date and time. The system will restrict the analysis to only use responses to those Offers that were offered after this date/time.

Completing the Select Predictors section

This section lists the set of predictors available for modeled analysis. You can add or remove predictors from this list. Use the Add icon to add a predictor. Use the Delete icon to remove a property that should not have any predictive value.

Column

Description

Property SmartPrompt, combo box, selection list Displays the predictor property. For new predictors, specify the desired property.
Property Type Read only. Displays the type of the property.
Predictor Type Displays the type of the associated predictor. The system defaults this to the appropriate value based on the property type. If required, use the drop-down to change the predictor type.

Completing the Define Behaviors section

Use this section to select positive and negative outcomes for the modeled analysis based on the available set of responses.

The Available Behaviors section lists all distinct (non-neutral) responses received so far, within your constraints for the selected offer and selected interaction details. Use the Refresh button to reload the list of available behaviors. After making any changes in the Select Offer or Select Interaction Detail sections, first save the Analysis Project before using the Refresh button.

Column

Description

Available Behaviors Read only. Displays the behavior and response value.
Count Read only. Displays the number of responses for the Sample data for this behavior.
Set As Select how to treat this response value in the analysis. Choose from:
  • Ignore - Ignore this behavior from modeled analysis execution.
  • Positive - Treat this behavior as a positive in modeled analysis execution. Selecting this option adds this behavior to the list of Positive Behaviors.
  • Negative - Treat this behavior as a negative in modeled analysis execution. Selecting this option adds this behavior to the list of Negative Behaviors.
