An Analysis Project rule has two key parts:

Field	Description
Analysis Name	Enter a unique name for the Analysis Project in the short description field. Tab or click the mouse pointer outside the field to populate the value for this key in the Identifier field.
Sample	Select a predefined Sample rule to use with this Analysis Project.

Note The system automatically stores the Analysis Project rule in the same class where the selected Sample resides.

Full rule resolution applies to Analysis Project rules. When searching for Analysis Projects, the system:

Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class
Finds circumstance-qualified rules that override base rules
Finds time-qualified rules that override base rules
