Create database table data instances to map classes or class groups to database tables or views. You can use the Database Table form to revise existing class-to-table relationships.
A database table instance associates an existing class (and other classes derived by pattern inheritance from that class) with an existing relational database table or view, in the PegaRULES database or an external database.
Typically, a developer working in close coordination with a database administrator maintains database table data instances.
Use the Rules by Type explorer to list database table data instances on your system.
The Application Accelerator creates a database table instance automatically, corresponding to the class of the work pool.
The Data-Admin-DB-Table class contains database table data instances. They are part of the SysAdmin category.
Database data instances are always stored as rows of the
pr4_base table.
