Using the Bulk Check-in report

This display allows you to delete, check in, or open multiple rules that you have checked out in a single operation. You can also check in rules filtered by Task ID.

A check box appears at the left of each row, corresponding to a checked-out rule.

  1. Select one or more check boxes before clicking any button, or click the Select All link to select all rows.
  2. Optionally, select a Task ID from the dropdown list to display all the rules associated with the task. Enable the Resolve check box to resolve the task when check in is complete. If any check-in fails, the task will not resolve successfully.
  3. Enter comments for any selected rules that you are to check in or delete.
  4. Optionally, enter text in the Bulk Prefix field and click  Insert   to copy this text as a comment for each selected rule.
  5. Select Check In, Open or Delete and click  Start   to apply this operation to selected rules. (When you choose Delete, you delete only the rule in your personal RuleSet, not the original rule.)
  6. Click  Refresh   to redisplay the current list of checked out rules.
  7. Click  Disable Bulk   to return to the Rules Checked Out By Me display.

A red X (red X) indicates a warning, such as a check-in when a higher version exists. You can cancel one check-in, or reconfirm your intention.
