Index classes (concrete classes derived from the Index- base class) provide alternate access to selected instances of other classes. These serve a similar function as database indexes, but are not related to database indexes.

Instances of Index- classes are maintained by Declare Index rules. Your system includes these standard Index- classes:

Index-AccessGroupRoles Allows quick access to the array of access roles in an access group.
Index-AccessGroupWorkPools Allows quick access to the array of work pools in an access group.
Index-AccessGroupAssignmentSkills Facilitates intelligent routing.
Index-CircumstanceDefinition Supports the ability to search and report on circumstance-qualified rules.
Index-CustomFields Supports the ability to search and report on rules that contain specific custom fields.
Index-Data-Email Provides access to emails sent in Data-Corr-Email that have a common pyMessageID.
Index-FlowRef Links cover work objects and flows. (This class and instances of this class are not visible in the Class Explorer.)
Index-OperatorSkills Supports skill-based routing. See More about skill rules.
Index-PrivilegeSecurity Relates privileges to flow rules that require those privileges.
Index-Reference Supports the Referencing Rules capability on selected rule forms.
Index-UpdateAccessUsers Supports the Application Profile wizard.
Index-Warning Supports the Preflight operation for applications, by associating warning messages with rule instances. Through directed inheritance, derived from the Index-CustomFields class.
Index-WorkPartyURI Provides alternate access to a unique identifier (such as account number, telephone number or customer ID) for each work party in a work object. Allows reporting or searching for work by party.
