Create a Connect File rule by selecting Connect File from the Integration-Connectors category.

A Connect File rule has two key parts:

Field	Description
Applies To	Select the class that this connector rule applies to.
Connector Name	Enter a name that is a valid Java identifier. See How to enter a Java identifier.

For general information on the New form, see Completing the new rule dialog box. For general information on the Save As form, see How to enter rule keys using Save As.

When searching for Connect File rules, the system:

Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list, which determines which RuleSets and versions the requestor can access
Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class

Time-qualified and circumstance-qualified rule resolution features are not available for Connect File rules.
