Create a Connect SOAP rule by selecting Connect SOAP from the Integration-Connectors category

A Connect SOAP rule has two key parts:

Field	Description
Applies To	Select the class that this connector rule applies to.
Service Name	Enter the name of the remote service being called. This value is arbitrary and is only used to distinguish Connect SOAP rules from one another. Enter a name that is a valid Java identifier. See How to enter a Java identifier.

Rule resolution

When searching for Connect SOAP rules, the system:

• Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
• Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class

Time-qualified and circumstance-qualified rule resolution features are not available for Connect SOAP rules.
