Create a Parse Delimited rule by selecting Parse Delimited from the Integration-Mapping category.

A Parse Delimited rule has three key parts:

Field

Completing the Field

Applies To

SmartPrompt Select the class that this rule applies to.

The classes you can enter here may depend on the RuleSet you select. On the Restrictions tab of the Class form, a class rule may limit rules applying to that class to belong to one of an explicit list of RuleSets.

Namespace

Enter an identifier. This key value is arbitrary.

Record Type

Enter a valid Java identifier value. This key value is arbitrary. See How to enter a Java identifier.

Rule resolution

When searching for Parse Delimited rules, the system:

Time-qualified and circumstance-qualified rule resolution features are not available for Parse Delimited rules.
