Create a regular expression rule by selecting Rule Analyzer Regular Expression from the Security category.

A regular expression has a single key:

Field Description Name Enter a name, starting with a letter and using only letters, digits and underscore characters.

Rule resolution

When searching for case type rules, the system filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions.

Circumstances and class-based inheritance do not apply to regular expression rules.
