About Service Type data instances

Use the Service Type form to define aspects of a custom service. Supplementing the service types supported by standard Rule-Service- rule types, a custom service can use other protocols, middleware technology, and formats.
Note: Java implementation skills are required to implement custom service types.
Your system includes thirteen service type instances, defining characteristics of the standard service rules. Do not delete or alter these instances except as instructed by Pegasystems Global Services.
Use the Application Explorer to list or open instances of this data class.
The Data-Admin-ServiceType class contains service type data instances.
