Summary View rule form

Note: Reports based on summary views use framesets to provide a view of drill-down reports. HTML5 does not support framesets, so these reports might not display well, or at all, in some browsers. To prevent display issues, re-create the custom summary view reports that you need as report definitions. Standard management reports are already available as report definitions.
Use the Summary View rule form to define a custom or personal query. This rule generates HTML that provides an interactive display or chart.
As a best practice, developers and business managers create summary view rules by using the Report Wizard.
Working directly with the Summary View rule form, developers can create a report for any class — internal or external.
From the Designer Studio, developers can define summary view reports for classes derived from the Rule-, Data-, Work-, Assign-, System-, and Log- base classes using the Version 5 Report wizard.
Summary view rules are instances of the Rule-Obj-SummaryView rule type. They are part of the Reports category.
