Updating the source of a data view

Use update to change existing connection details and field mappings, for example, if the authentication method has changed or the schema of the data being sent has changed. The existing connection details and mapping are displayed so that you can change only what you need to; everything else stays the same.

You can only update data sources that were created in App Studio and whose parameters were not modified in Dev Studio. Data sources created in Dev Studio can only be updated in Dev Studio. 1. In App Studio click Data.
2. Click the data type that you want to update.
3. In the row of the data view that you want to configure, click More > Update source.
4. In the Connect to system of records screen, update the connection details to the system or record as needed.. For more information, see Adding a data type by using a REST connection and Adding a data type that uses local data storage.
5. Click Next.
6. Update the data mapping as needed. For more information, see Mapping fields.
7. Click Next.
8. Configure environment settings. For more information, see Configuring connection details for environments
9. Click Submit.
