Completing and using the Test Offer tab

Use the Test Offer tab to ensure various paths of Offer flow execution are working as expected.

Completing the Select Recipients section

Select a predefined Seed List with which to test this Offer. The system lists all available Seeds Lists in the Seed List smart prompt. The system will execute the Offer test for each seed in the Seed List. The system populates the Customer page with the data for each seed and this data is visible (if referenced) in all appropriate flow shapes (as long as it exists on the corresponding seed entry).

Use the View All Seed Lists button to open the Seed Lists landing page.

Completing the Select a Starting Point section

Select an Offer flow shape from where the Offer test should begin. The system lists all shapes present in the Offer flow (with the exception of the End shape) in the Starting Point drop-down. You can select any of these shapes as the starting point for the Offer test.

Completing the Select a Channel and Direction section

Specify the channel and direction of communication for the Offer test. These values are particularly useful in testing different branches of Offer Flow execution which are dependent on the channel or direction.

• Channel - Select a channel from the available channels in the system.
• Direction - Choose either Inbound or Outbound.

Initating the Offer test

After completing the sections of this tab, you can initiate an Offer test via:

• The Test Offer button at the top of this tab
• The Test Offer from Here right-click menu option on any Offer shape (except the End shape) in the Diagram tab - This will set the starting point for the Offer test to be the triggering shape.

When you initiate an Offer test, the system first saves the Offer. If the offer is successfully saved, the test is submitted for execution. If the test path includes correspondence, this will be sent to the entries in the specified Seed List. Any response links in the communication will be active and visible to the recipients. Recipients can click these links to test the response handling paths of flow execution. The system will not capture information for these responses in History.

Viewing test results

You can view the results of your Offer tests in the Track Results section on the Test Offer tab. Each row represents an Offer sent to one of the seeds in the Seed List.
