Leave this value unselected to create the treatment at the Top level. |
Group
|

Notes on Issue and Group usage
- In the Create form, the application pre-populates Issue and Group values using the corresponding values of the Offer rule from where you initiated Email Treatment creation.
- In the Save As form, the application pre-populates Issue and Group values based on the corresponding values for the original Email treatment.
- Issue and Group serve as logical abstractions for the class where the Email treatment is stored. See Using Issues and Groups to store rules.
Rule resolution
Full rule resolution applies to Email treatments. When searching for Email treatments, the system:
- Filters candidate rules based on a requestor's RuleSet list of RuleSets and versions
- Searches through ancestor classes in the class hierarchy for candidates when no matching rule is found in the starting class
- Finds circumstance-qualified rules that override base rules
- Finds time-qualified rules that override base rules
