Create a Real-Time Container rule to configure a marketing container in your system. Real-Time Containers provide a way to manage content that appears in real-time channels, such as web and mobile. As an example, you may define a Real-Time Container to represent a region of a web page. You can then associate this Container with a Multi-Channel Campaign. In real-time when this Container is loaded (say on a web page), the associated Campaign is executed and the Container gets populated.
A Multi-Channel Campaign can reference a Real-Time Container rule as part of its execution infrastructure. Triggering the associated Real-Time Container triggers the execution of the Campaign.
Next-Best-Action (NBA) configurations can also reference Real-Time Containers. Any hierarchical level of NBA (top, issue, or group) can be associated to a Container. Refer to the Next-Best-Action chapter in the Pega Marketing User Guide for more details.
Supporting Decisions reference Real-Time Containers as part of their configuration.
Use the Containers tab on the Real-Time Artifacts landing page to view the Real-Time Container rules configured in your system.
Real-Time Container rules are instances of the Rule-PegaMKT-Container class. They belong to the Marketing category.
