This page outlines the following actions that you can perform on your Outbound Campaign:
Outbound Campaign actions are available in the Outbound Campaign header, either directly as individual buttons or listed under the Actions menu. The list of actions available depends on the status of the Outbound Campaign. While performing an action, you can switch to a different action (if available) via the Other Actions
menu.
Perform this action to validate your Outbound Campaign configurations. The system categorizes any violations into critical items and warnings.
You can use the edit link to directly launch the Edit action.
Click Confirm when you're done reviewing the validation results.
The system invokes this same validation routine when you perform any of the following Outbound Campaign actions:
If the validation returns any errors in these cases, you must correct them before you can perform the desired action.
Perform this action to run your Outbound Campaign.
When you initiate this action, the system runs the Validate action on the Outbound Campaign and reports any validation errors and warnings to you. You must resolve all validation errors before you can proceed with this action.
Choose between the following run options:
Run now
- Select this option to run the Outbound Campaign right away.Scheduled to run
- Select this option to run the Outbound Campaign at a later time. Additionally, specify the desired date and time for running the Outbound Campaign.Enable the Refresh the audience for this campaign
check box to have the system refresh the Outbound Campaign's audience before running it.
The refresh audience option is only available when the audience of the Outbound Campaign is a criteria Segment.
After performing this action, do not delete any referenced components (such as the audience Segment or the Offer).
This action becomes available when the Outbound Campaign has finished running. The system signals the availability of this action by updating the Outbound Campaign status to Awaiting Wrap-up.
Use the Wrap-Up action to complete the Outbound Campaign. Select an Outcome for the Outbound Campaign. Enter any additional remarks on the Outbound Campaign in the Outcome note field.
When you complete this action. the system updates the Outbound Campaign status to Completed.
Perform this action to re-schedule an Outbound Campaign that has not started running.
This action behaves similarly to the Run action and has the same configuration options.
Perform this action to make modifications to a scheduled Outbound Campaign that hasn't started running.
Use the Suspend Note text area to enter your reason for suspending the Outbound Campaign.
As part of suspending the Outbound Campaign, the system sends an email to the user that launched the Outbound Campaign notifying them of its suspension.
Archive
Use this action to archive completed Outbound Campaigns. Archived Outbound Campaigns are not listed (by default) in the Campaigns landing page. To view archived Outbound Campaigns, set the Status filter on this landing page to Archived.
Restore
Use this action to restore an archived Outbound Campaign. Restoring an Outbound Campaign moves it back to the stage it was in before being archived.
Reopen
Use this action to reopen a completed (wrapped-up or restored) Outbound Campaign. Reopening an Outbound Campaign places it back in the Awaiting Wrap-up state.
Use this action to withdraw an Outbound Campaign that is in the In Design or Failed state.
Provide your reason for withdrawing the Outbound Campaign in the Withdraw Note text area.
Withdrawn Outbound Campaigns are not listed (by default) in the Campaigns landing page. To view withdrawn Outbound Campaigns, set the Status filter on this landing page to Withdrawn.
