Standard RuleSets

All Process Commander requestors require five standard RuleSets: Pega-AppDefinition.Pega-ProCom, Pega-IntSvcs, Pega-WB and Pega-RULES. Developers may also require CheckInCandidates.
Because they define how Process Commander features operate, all versions of the RuleSets listed below are locked, except as noted.

| CheckInCandidates | Initially empty. Supports the Rule Check-in Approval process, and needed only by developers using that process. See How to use the Rule Check-in Approval process. Not locked. |
| Pega-AppDefinition | A base RuleSet that supports the Direct Capture of Objectives features. |
| PegaAES | Optional RuleSet, part of the Autonomic Event Services product. |
| PegaAESRemote | Optional RuleSet, for client systems monitored by the Autonomic Event Services product. |
| PegaAppTestManagement | Optional RuleSet, part of the Test Management Framework. |
| Pega-BIX | Optional RuleSet, provides the Business Intelligence Exchange facility. |
| PegaCustFoundation | Optional RuleSet, part of the Test Management Framework. |
| PegaEnvStatus | Optional RuleSet that supports the Automated Environment Statistics report. This add-on feature automatically gathers and emails to work parties and to the Pegasystems Global Customer Support team various system information such as RuleSets, applications, usage, and so on. | PegaForecaster | Supports PegaRULES Process Simulator, an optional component. |
| Pega-IntSvcs | Support of system interfaces, including connectors and services. |
| PegaPwdControl | Not initially installed. Version 01-01-ZZ is not locked. Supports the optional password control feature. |
| Pega-ProCom | A base RuleSet that provides workflow support and user portal facilities. |
| Pega-Repository | Optional RuleSet, supports the VER add-on product. See Virtual Enterprise Repository. |
| PegaRelationshipViewer | Optional RuleSet, part of the Test Management Framework. |
| PegaTestMgmtConfig | Optional RuleSet, part of the Test Management Framework. |
| PegaWAI | Optional RuleSet that supports accessibility. |

| Pega-RULES | Basic RuleSet: supports activities, Java generation, rule resolution, and other basic engine operations. |
