C-540 Instances of the My Rules form personalize the portal access to rules and shortcuts. It associates favorite and delegated rules with individual users (or with all members of an access group) and holds details for shortcuts.

Ordinarily, you create and add to instances of this class indirectly, not through the form. Use the form only for troubleshooting or deleting items. Access the My Rules form directly when you need to remove or update several rows at once. The available indirect methods are:

• For associations to favorite rules or delegated rules:
  • Use the Favorites () button on the toolbar to delegate a rule or save as a favorite. This is faster and more direct, and does not require knowledge of the object handle.
  • Use My Favorites > Edit Favorites from your profile menu to work with links to your favorite rules or to rules delegated to you.
• For shortcuts:
  • Use the  Add to Shortcuts   button on the Run Rule form to create a shortcut to activity rules.
  • Use My Shortcuts > Organize Shortcuts from your profile menu to work with your shortcuts.

To review rules delegated to yourself:

• For managers using the WorkManager portal, click the Dashboard bar and locate the My Rules area.
• For managers using the Manager portal, click the Dashboard bar and locate the Delegated Rules area.
• For developers using the Designer Studio, select My Favorites > Edit My Favorites from your profile menu.

From this area, you can click a rule's label to open any delegated rule, change the label, or remove the delegation.
