Designer Studio — Using the Tab bar |
You can personalize the defaults and other settings of this facility through preferences. See Designer Studio — Setting your preferences.
For a tab that represents a rule, hold the mouse pointer over the tab to see the type, full rule key, RuleSet, and version information. |
You can open multiple forms or other displays, each represented by a tab, up to the limit specified in the Maximum value in the Open group of Edit preferences. By default, the maximum is 20; you can chose a value up to 50. (More tabs may add to workstation memory demand and cause slower display refresh.)
As the number of tabs increases, the width of each individual tab decreases.
The icon on a tab indicates the category of the rule or other object that is open.
