Back Forward Application profile

An application profile is a collection of information that specifies business flows for work types, specifications, requirements, and other processing elements like reports, correspondence, and interfaces for a project implementation. It also provides implementation time frames and sizing estimates. Information is captured by the Application Profiler that produces a printable project document and integrates with the Application Accelerator to create or extend an application or framework.

Creating a profile is part of the suite of implementation tools supported by Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO).

To start the Application Profiler:

In the Designer Studio:

In the Business Analyst portal:

For details about creating an application profile, see the PDNPDN article 26371 Creating Application Profiles and Discovery Maps and others listed under the Direct Capture of Objectives section of the Implementation Methodology knowledge category.

NoteDon't confuse the Application Profiler with the Profiler tool — an unrelated performance and debugging aid — or with an operator profile.
