Strategy rules

Create a strategy rule by selecting strategy
from the Decision
category.

This rule has two key parts:

Select the class to which this rule applies. |
Purpose |
Enter a unique name for this instance that identifies the purpose of the rule. Begin the name with a letter and use only letters, digits, and a dash character. |
Choose Strategy Result Class |
Check this box to use the rule without propositions.Select a Data Class that is indirectly derived from Data-pxStrategyResult. If left blank, the strategy result class is automatically considered to be the top level class of your application. Leave the box unchecked to use the rule with propositions. Select an Issue and and, if applicable, the Group level to specify the applicability of the rule in the context of the proposition hierarchy. If you want your strategy to apply to all issues and groups, leave these fields blank. The level at which the strategy is created (top level, issues or group) determines the properties it can access. |
